Direksi TPS bersama para penerima Penghargaan GPF 2023

Surabaya (29/3) – PT Terminal Container Surabaya (TPS), which is a subsidiary of Subholding Pelindo Container Terminal (SPTP) has won the prestigious Global Port Forum (GPF) award in the Sustainable Port/Terminal of the Year 2023 category & the Emerging Port/Terminal of the Year category 2023.

The Global Ports Forum Award is a world-class award event that has been held since 2008 and followed by the entire ecosystem of port stakeholders globally, including port customers, ports authorities, port operators, port people, port suppliers & service providers. TPS management represented by Bambang Hasbullah, Director of Operations and Robby Dayoh, Director Teknik, directly received the award from Thomas Ng, Executive Chairman of the Global Port Forum on (28/3) in Dubai, UAE. The award features 80 recognizing categories contributions of professionals in various ports and terminals from around the world with a panel of judgescomprised of port experts from the Global Ports Council.

The role of TPS is not only as a supply chain link. By balancing the interests of all stakeholders, implementing progressive policies oriented towards environmental sustainability,TPS managed to get the award after competing with several terminal operators other international containers. President director of TPS, Wahyu Widodo, expressed his pride that TPS could become one of them the world's best container terminal operator in implementing sustainable business (sustainable port) in terminal which is developing, where in the management and operation of TPS it is not only looking at profit or business profit only. In line with business development, TPS remains deep commitment to conducting business by paying attention to aspects of occupational health and safety, social, economic and environmental.

TPS has implemented ISO 26000 as a harmonization of corporate social responsibility through the concept of environmentally friendly port service management, utilization of environmentally friendly energy and increase the green area. Not only from an environmental point of view, TPS also fulfills its commitment to participate in empowering the community by involving local suppliers and craftsmen, as well as presenting community programs that aim to help the self-sufficiency of the community in work.
